Diabetes Ireland Health Awareness Exhibition
Cork University Dental School and Hospital were delighted to be invited to the Diabetes Ireland Health Awareness Exhibition in Dublin on November 10th .
Final year dental hygiene students Ms Lauren Adams and Ms Evelyn Gallagher provided visitors to the exhibition with advice on how best to care for their mouth, teeth and gums with diabetes either type 1 or 2. The dental hygiene students and dentist were present from 12 to 4 and had a constant line of people coming to ask questions about their or their children鈥檚 mouth, teeth and gums. It was a wonderful day with the students and visitors to the exhibition learning from each other.
Cork University Dental School and Hospital look forward to working with Diabetes Ireland again and were so pleased to share the value of good oral health when diabetes 1 or 2 is present.
