A funded Master's by Research opportunity is now available to apply for in the area of Irish agricultural co-operatives. 

A public lecture exploring the role of co-operatives in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is set to take place at ���ϸ������߹ۿ� Cork on Wednesday, 30th April, from 2pm to 3pm in the O'Rahilly Building (Room ORB 145).

FiRe Up: Financial Readiness for Life course and research study launches in UCC. The course is free for all UCC students to take part in. The course aims to improve students financial knowledge and wellbeing. 

The Department of Accounting and Finance and the Centre for Co-operative Studies at Cork University Business School, ���ϸ������߹ۿ� Cork, hosted a research seminar examining the relationship between accounting practices and democratic governance in co-operatives.

Insights into Co-operative Accounting and Accountability: Policy and Practice Implications for Credit Unions

• Value: The scholarship includes MSc fee waiver and stipend which when combined will equal €25,000 per annum (24 Months)

Care Co-operatives in Ireland and the UK: A model for designing and delivering home care that respects and empowers care recipients, family carers and care workers.

This is a recording of a webinar hosted by the Centre for Co-operative Studies, ���ϸ������߹ۿ� Cork, in association with the Society for Co-operative Studies in Ireland (SCSI) and the UK Society for Co-operative Studies (UKSCS), to foster awareness and understanding of the potential of the co-operative model to address key societal challenges during the UN International Year of Co-operatives, 2025.

The first cohort has completed a co-operative governance training programme by UCC and Tirlán to support member leadership within the co-op.
