Congratulations to Dr Gerard O'Keeffe on the award of UCC Research Supervisor of the Year 2019. This award recognises UCC researchers making exceptional and influential research contributions, pushing boundaries, enhancing knowledge in UCC.

Dr O' Keeffe is a Senior Lecturer and Principal Investigator in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience at 晚上福利在线观看 Cork, where he is Director of the Brain Development and Repair Group. His lab is affiliated with Irish Centre for Fetal and Neonatal Translational Research () and the . He has been elected to the governing body of the  and currently sits on the council acting as the deputy treasurer. Gerard has also been appointed a Fellow at the Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning at UCC, where he explores authentic learning pedagogies and works as a mentor for staff undertaking Certificate and Diplioma qualifications in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
