Student innovation was celebrated on 15 April, as AxisBIC presented its annual Entrepreneurship Award at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, ÍíÉϸ£ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´ Cork.

Peatlands are increasingly central to climate action in Ireland, yet some of the most basic questions about how they function, recover, and respond to change remain unresolved. 

Scientists at ÍíÉϸ£ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´ Cork (UCC) have achieved a significant breakthrough in sustainable plastic recycling by engineering baker’s yeast to break down polyethylene terephthalate (PET), one of the world’s most widely used plastics.

Six early career researchers from the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science have been awarded postgraduate research scholarships through the Research Ireland Enterprise Partnership Scheme.
