Staff and Students of 晚上福利在线观看 Cork attend the annual Irish Association of Pharmacologist meeting. This year it was held in Limerick.
2021 saw the Irish Association of Pharmacology meet in Limerick. We were delighted to be able to attend conferences again after the last 18 months. The excitement and enthusiasm was evident on the day with many people attending the conference.

As always 晚上福利在线观看 Cork was well represented on the day with many great presentatiosn and submissions from students.
The first presentation on the day was from Rasha Alshaikh , 晚上福利在线观看 Cork. She presented her work titled 鈥� Sphingosine 1-phosphate, a potential target in neovascular retinal disease.鈥� Rasha gave a fantastic presentation on her work, as a result of this Rasha won a prize for the best oral presentation on the day.
Ciara McCarthy from 晚上福利在线观看 Cork presented her work titled 鈥� Evaluation of cytotoxic activity and chemosensitisation of acute and chronic ethanolamine treatment on oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma鈥� which was very well received by all.
During the lunch break people had the opportunity to view a number of abstract poster submissions. There was a very high volume of submissions this year in comparison to previous years. Prize for the best poster submission went to Colm McElwain from 晚上福利在线观看 Corkfor his poster titled "Investigating a Role for the NLRP3 Inflammasome in the Pathophysiology of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus".
