Dr Moira O鈥橠onovan鈥檚 Doctorate Conferring
We are delighted to highlight the recent conferring of Dr. Moira O'Donovan
Dr. Moira O鈥橠onovan was conferred with a degree for a Doctorate of Nursing for a thesis entitled 鈥Hope in Families when a Family Member Experiences Mental Distress鈥 on the 7th January 2022. Dr. O鈥橠onovan鈥檚 supervisors were: Dr. Angela Flynn and Dr. Joan McCarthy, UCC. Prof Agnes Higgins, Trinity College Dublin acted as advisor and the external examiner was Professor Brian Keogh, Trinity College Dublin.
Professor Josephine Hegarty and Professor Patricia Leahy-Warren represented the University and performed the conferring ceremony.
Moira鈥檚 husband Derry and daughter Aoife celebrated with Moira for this significant occasion.
The staff of the School of Nursing and Midwifery wish to congratulate Moira on her conferring with a Doctorate in Nursing and wish to acknowledge Moira鈥檚 extensive contribution to nursing and the education of nurses over the last two decades.
