• Broadcaster and author John Creedon awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts.
• Ceremony honoured Creedon’s outstanding contributions to Irish culture through his broadcasting, writing, and celebration of place and people.

• Over 250 original fossils on display in new UCC exhibition – including bones from the only known dinosaurs from Ireland. 

• The Domain of the Dinosaurs will also feature nine life-sized skeleton casts, including the Irish dinosaurs Megalosaurus and Scelidosaurus plus the dinosaur Iguanodon, marine reptiles and pterosaurs, the flying cousins of dinosaurs. 

• Fossils to be displayed alongside newly commissioned Irish art, with special curated events planned. 

IGNITE, the award-winning business incubation programme run by ÍíÉϸ£ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´ Cork (UCC) is among five Irish higher education institution initiatives to have been allocated a performance funding award of €1M, in recognition of the programme’s exemplary performance in working towards the achievement of national strategy and policy priorities.

The first Pregnancy Loss Support Policy for staff in an Irish university was launched today by ÍíÉϸ£ÀûÔÚÏß¹Û¿´ Cork (UCC), marking a significant step forward in workplace wellbeing and inclusion.
