Institution to Institution Senior Mentoring (UG, MU, UL, Queen's & UCC)
Institution to Institution Senior Mentoring is an initiative of the Irish Universities Training Unit, a sub committee of the This senior mentoring initiative currently involves the University of Galway, University of Limerick, Maynooth University, Queen's University Belfast and UCC.
Target Mentee Audience
This mentoring initiative is aimed at senior academic, research, technical and administrative leaders (full or part-time, permanent or temporary) e.g. Head of School/Department, Senior Professional Services, Chief Technical Officers, Principal Investigators who are interested in identifying a senior mentor outside of UCC and from one of the participating universities.
Next steps if interested
In the first instance, interested mentees should contact Staff Wellbeing & Development (traininganddevelopment@ucc.ie) to discuss their exact requirements. They will then fill in the should they wish to progress.
This will assist in identifying a suitable match amongst the participating institutions according to the requirements. During this stage, the mentee's name will not be provided to the other institutions, only their mentor requirements. On identification of a suitable match, the mentee will be introduced to the mentor via the appropriate local contact.
