顿谤补铆辞肠丑迟 is a new commission by folklore and mythology researcher and writer, Sadbh Kellett, exploring the triad of personas of the pagan goddess, Brigid - Brigid of Spring, Brigid of the Forge, and Brigid of Women. Each monologue explores the perceptions we have of Brigid鈥檚 mythology and translates her story into modern day, through English and Irish. Presented over three afternoons, this video trilogy of spoken word, folk song and local footage captured from the Meath landscape is designed to bring a fresh take on some of the ancient stories that our culture has to offer.

The Artists
脡t谩in Collins
脡t谩in Collins is a songwriter and musician from Co. Meath. Having fallen in love with the city while completing her BA in Music and Irish and Bachelor of Music from 晚上福利在线观看 Cork, she is now pursuing the MA in Music and Cultural History; exploring the deep and lasting connections between society, humans, and their musical productions. Over the last year, 脡t谩in has released her own music online, steadily uncovering her distinct sound and building relationships with like-minded and supportive people. Her music has received coverage from publications such as The Thin Air, Hotpress, The Last Mixed Tape, and EARMILK, as well as radio play on RT脡 One, KCLR96FM, and 98FM. She is excited to be entering Out of Orbit鈥檚 universe as part of the 顿谤补铆辞肠丑迟 team.
Sadbh Kellett
Sadbh Kellett is an Irish writer whose work has been published in the recent anthology Poems from Pandemia and journals like Sonder, Boyne Berries, Paper Lanterns, and Strange Times. Currently, Sadbh is working on her novel and a short story collection. She is a PhD student working on Gaelic mythology in Irish and Scottish Literature at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Previously, Sadbh studied for a BA in English Studies at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, followed by the MLitt in Modern & Contemporary Literature & Culture at the University of St. Andrews during which she earned a place on the Dean鈥檚 List. Sadbh is also a recipient of the Professor AF Falconer Memorial Fund.
